Missile Baits Brings Urchin Innovation with Ike's Dice Jig to Headline Their New Product Lineup

Salem, VA. — Missile Baits is bringing plenty of excitement to ICAST 2026, and the spotlight belongs to the all-new Ike's Dice Jig because it solves all the issues with urchin style baits. Designed with Bassmaster Classic champion Mike "Ike" Iaconelli, the Dice Jig headlines a lineup of new products that continues the company's momentum with one of its biggest years yet.

The Dice Jig was built to fix all the issues with an urchin style bait, such as choosing the right hook, how to rig, the bait deforming, and how to store it. The strong 1/0 VMC hook holds up to big fish and has a high hook up ratio since the “urchin body” is made up of a thick hand tied rubber skirt by Greenfish Tackle. The rubber skirt also allows for no bait deformity and packaging in a small, slim bag. A custom wire form is attached to the skirt collar, which allows for any loop style weight to be added or swapped to find the right fall rate. The bait is to be worked just like other urchin baits but with less problems.

"We fixed all the urchin issues with the Dice Jig," said Missile Baits owner John Crews. "Ike and I worked together to get this thing right. It is so slick, and I don’t think I have ever seen him this excited about a new bait. I personally caught some studs on it in testing"

Joining the Dice Jig is another addition to the Ike’ Jig lineup, the Ike's Micro HD Football Jig. Built for power finesse applications, the Micro HD Football Jig is built on a strong 1/0 VMC hook, extra full, fine cut, micro length skirt and custom weed guard. Coming in sizes 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ounce, the HD can be fished at any depth on spinning or bait casting gear. This jig completes the micro jig selection from Missile Jigs.

Missile Baits is also introducing Hangtime Clip Weights, giving anglers a quick and easy way to fine-tune bait fall rate and running depth of bait without cutting line or retying. With the popularity of urchin baits, Hangtime Clip Weights make adding the right weight easier and faster than ever. You can clip them on the loop of a hook, hook hanger, or through the ring packaged with the weights to use on a Free Rig.

The new products arrive on the heels of two successful launches earlier this year.

The Buzz Wagon Buzzbait has quickly become one of the hottest products in the Missile Baits lineup. Since its release, anglers across the country have embraced its premuim design and fish-catching ability, making it one of the company's strongest product introductions to date.

Also returning to the spotlight is the Freedom Flyer 6.0, which debuted during Bassmaster Classic week this spring. The larger profile expands the Freedom Flyers for anglers targeting bigger bass while wanting the easiest bait to roll.
